Recommended – nVidia GeForce GTX 260 / ATI Radeon HD 4850 Minimum – nVidia GeForce FX 5900 / ATI Radeon 9500 * CPU: Intel Core 2 DUO 2.5 GHz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ So im going to guess the Graphics Card is not the issue as well.* CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz / AMD Athlon XP 2000+ Finally, i had the GTX 560ti for 2 years before it seemed to have a steep degredation in performance. This PSU has been in my PC since 2012 and went through a lot so that's a possibility. Also the only thing i have not upgraded in my PC in the last 6 months was the PSU. I have to changed the BIOS from integrated graphics so that very well could be a solution. The odds of having two bad boards are very slim, so i am going to rule that out. I just upgraded to a new board yesterday (from a Gigabyte AM3+ to the Z170). The motherboard seems like a potential problem as you said this is the second card you've had problems with, could also be the psu not putting out enough juice, lastly you could be very unlucky and have had two messed up cards but that seems unlikely I think it is either a bios issue, motherboard issue psu issue or a bad card, the bios might have reverted to integrated graphic if your sure you turned them off. It was used with a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AMD3+ board and an AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+Ĭan anyone help me out with what i am doing wrong? I have the utmost faith in the LTT forum. I have not tried the GTX 560ti with my new set up. I also replaced a GTX 560ti a while back because i had seemed to be getting low FPS with that graphics card as well. I just yesterday replaced the motherboard, RAM, CPU and CPU Fan (Corsair H81i GT), which i though might have been the problem. I also experience some weird issues where my computer seems to almost freeze at random times like my graphics have been locking up. PS: PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk II 750W High Performance 80PLUS Silver RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-2666 16GB I am getting very low FPS in games like GTA V, Second Life, and even MLB 2K12. I currently have a GTX970 that isn't performing up to its specs. This is my first post and i plan to make it a real good one. I haven't played many other games other than GTA but since the BIOS upgrade, i am running everything on HIGH+ settings and seem to be getting better fps. I will do more testing tonight, if not tomorrow to see if i can get anymore issues resolved. Second Life seems to be an issue still but i think that it may be something else. I did this last night and it seemed to help some of my issue i was having with GTA V.
something you may want to look into is updating your BIOS in your graphics card. Even my BIOS knew i had a 970 and told me it was using that iGPU has been fantastic lately in MOBOs.
